Tennis Ball Machine Membership

Membership is offered as an annual term running January 1 to December 31 for $40, or a half year term running July 1 to December 31 for $20. All memberships expire December 31 regardless of join date. Refunds are not given if the member discontinues membership before the term ends.

Member agrees to the following terms and understands that membership may be terminated for non-compliance at the discretion of the Tennis Committee.

• The ball machine is for tennis balls and practicing tennis only.
• The ball machine must be reserved via www.yourcourts.com and used on court 10 or 11 only, which must also be reserved.
• The access code to the ball machine shed will not be shared with anyone outside the member’s household, and someone from the member’s household will be present at all times during ball machine use.
• The member is responsible for the ball machine during use and until it is plugged in and secured back in the shed.
• The member will notify a member of the Tennis Committee as soon as possible if the machine is not functioning properly.
• After use, the member will pick up all balls hit inside or outside the court, refill the ball machine, return it to the storage facility, plug in the battery, and securely lock the shed with the padlock.

Normal wear and tear is expected. Should damage outside normal wear and tear occur to the machine while under the member’s care, the Tennis Committee will repair the machine and invoice the member for the cost. The member agrees to pay for repairs within 30 days.

The member agrees to use the machine at their own risk. Ball machines have parts moving at high speeds and significant personal injury could occur through careless use or by allowing young or careless parties unmonitored access to the machine. The member accepts these risks and will not hold the Creekstone Tennis Committee or the Creekstone Estates Homeowners Association responsible for injury to any party during the member’s use of the machine.
