Tennis Rules

Creekstone Estates Tennis Rules

These rules are subject to periodic review by the Tennis Committee and the Creekstone Estates Homeowners Association Board of Directors to ensure they remain current and fair. Exceptions are not permitted without the express written consent of the Tennis Committee.

Court Access & Use

  • Courts are for the use of Creekstone Estates residents in good standing and their guests. No more than three guests per resident are permitted, and the resident must be present while guests are using the courts.
  • Schools and other organizations may not use the Creekstone Estates courts without written consent from the Tennis Committee and the HOA Board of Directors.
  • Court use is limited to tennis and authorized pickleball play on designated courts. Other recreational activities are prohibited.
  • Children under age 12 may not use the courts unless accompanied and supervised by an adult resident and actively participating in an authorized court activity.
  • Only the Creekstone Estates Tennis Director and authorized Tennis Professionals may provide professional coaching or other tennis services on Creekstone courts.

Court Etiquette & Conduct

  • Proper tennis attire, including shirts and non-marking tennis shoes, must be worn on the courts.
  • Proper etiquette and behavior are required at all times. Profanity and abusive behavior toward other players are prohibited.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring that children are properly supervised and do not disturb play on adjacent courts.
  • Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, wheeled shoes, and similar recreational equipment are prohibited on the courts.
  • Pets are not permitted on the courts.

Care of Courts & Facilities

  • Residents are responsible for cleaning up after play. Trash must be placed in the appropriate receptacles. Items left on the courts will be taken to the clubhouse and placed in Lost and Found.
  • Glass bottles, food, and chewing gum are not permitted on the courts.
  • Grills must be cleaned after use and returned to their original condition or better. A cleaning fee may be charged to the person or team responsible for a grill that is not properly cleaned.
  • Abuse of or damage to Creekstone tennis facilities, including courts, nets, windscreens, and outdoor furniture, is prohibited. Any person responsible for such damage will be responsible for the resulting costs.

Responsibility & Enforcement

  • Residents using the tennis facilities or participating in ALTA or USTA matches must remain in good standing with the Association. Homeowners who are delinquent in HOA assessments or other amounts due to the Association may be restricted from using Creekstone recreational facilities.
  • Court use and compliance are monitored by the Tennis Director and administered by the Creekstone Estates Tennis Committee. Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension of tennis privileges.
  • All persons using the courts do so at their own risk and assume responsibility for injury or loss resulting from their use of the facilities.
