Danie van den Heever

Creekstone Estates Tennis Director

Danie grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was a top junior player in both singles and doubles, achieving a national ranking as high as No. 9 in singles and No. 5 in doubles. He also won the National Doubles Championships in the Boys’ 18s division.

Danie played collegiate tennis for Georgia Southern University, primarily in the top singles and doubles positions, and was named second-team all-conference his final season. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a minor in Broadcasting and Telecommunications during his four years at Georgia Southern.

Danie has worked with many nationally ranked junior players and has been teaching tennis since 1999 in both South Africa and the United States. He has served as Creekstone Estates Tennis Director since 2007.

Inus Daneel

Creekstone Estates Head Professional

Inus Daneel has been a tennis professional at Creekstone Estates since February 2023. Before joining Creekstone, he served as a full-time tennis professional at Fieldstone Tennis in Cumming and previously at Crooked Creek.

Originally from South Africa, Inus was a highly ranked junior player, reaching the top 10 nationally in the Boys’ 18s division. He represented the South African Youth Tennis Team in Denmark and Italy in 1993. In 1998, he came to the Evert Tennis Academy in Fort Lauderdale, where he trained and accompanied junior players competing in ITF tournaments in South America.

As a player, Inus has competed on Creekstone’s AA1 men’s and mixed teams, as well as a USTA 5.0 team. He has represented Georgia at the Callen Cup and has won state and sectional championships with his league teams.

Inus became a certified professional tennis coach in South Africa in 2000 and is currently a USPTA-certified coach. He has experience coaching adults, ALTA and USTA teams, and junior players of all levels.
