Tennis Ball Machine Membership

Membership Agreement

Membership is available for an annual term (January 1–December 31) for $40, or a second-half term (July 1–December 31) for $20. All memberships expire on December 31, regardless of the purchase date. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Member agrees to the following terms and understands that membership may be terminated for non-compliance at the discretion of the Tennis Committee.

• The ball machine is for tennis balls and practicing tennis only.
• The ball machine and Court 10 or Court 11 must both be reserved through YourCourts before use.
• The access code to the ball machine shed may not be shared. Someone from the registered member’s household must be present at all times while the ball machine is in use.
• The member is responsible for the ball machine during use and until it is plugged in and secured back in the shed.
• The member will notify a member of the Tennis Committee as soon as possible if the machine is not functioning properly.
• After use, the member will pick up all balls hit inside or outside the court, refill the ball machine, return it to the storage facility, plug in the battery, and securely lock the shed with the padlock.

Normal wear and tear is expected. If the ball machine is damaged beyond normal wear and tear while under the member’s care, the Tennis Committee may arrange for repairs and invoice the member for the cost. The member agrees to pay such repair costs within 30 days.

The member agrees to use the ball machine at their own risk. Ball machines contain parts that move at high speeds, and serious personal injury may result from careless use or from allowing young or inexperienced individuals to use the machine without appropriate supervision. The member accepts these risks and agrees not to hold Creekstone Estates Homeowners Association, Inc. or its Tennis Committee responsible for injuries arising from the member’s use of the ball machine.
